The Association for Computing Machinery is an international organization that involves itself in all things Computer Science and Engineering. The UTD chapter expands on the core values by providing UT Dallas students with opportunities to engage with and participate in real-world opportunities in Computer Science.

ACM UTD provides an incredibly wide range of opportunities for students, such as workshops that target practical development tools and paradigms, semester-long programs for students to do research or work on a functioning and deployable application, and the chance to make the UT Dallas community better and more engaging by building tools and resources used by ACM and UTD students alike.
